Hi @Anonymous,

What are you hoping to use this adhesive layer for?

If purely aesthetic then it may be worth ignoring or using a texture since it doesn't really add to the model.

If you're trying to simulate then a quick google led me here: https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/inventor-forum/adhesive-between-layers-inventor/td-p/5554927

To add to what @leowarren34 said, if you need it added to the BOM use a virtual part in the assembly.

Use iLogic Copy? Please consider voting for this long overdue idea (not mine):https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/inventor-ideas/string-replace-for-ilogic-design-copy/idi-p/3821399

@Anonymous  You would likely model it like anything else. Extrusions/sweeps/lofts/thicken or whatever feature you need to model the geometry.

Inventor has no special functions for adhesive or any other material for that matter.. Its all just 2d/3d geometry with a material applied to those shapes to represent the real world geometry.

How you achieve your final output depends on the specifics of what exactly you need to document.
