I am using Inventor 2017 and am trying to create 3D PDF included 3D .ipt and 2D .ipt.
Here is a problem, the created 3D PDF shows only 3D .ipt, not including 2D .ipt.
I tried to create 2D PDF with same .iam. However, the result is same not included 2D .ipt

Hi! What build of Inventor 2017 are you using? RTM, R2, or R3? Does the 2D.ipt contain only 2D sketch? Is it an image or 2D sketch with geometry? If it is latter, it should work. 2D Sketch should be exported in 3D PDF. It should work in R2 and later. Please post the file here or send it to me directly (johnson.shiue@autodesk.com)?

The original poster sent me the files. The reason why the wires are exported to 3D PDF is because the wires are on a DWG Underlay. Underlay is a bit like transparency. The geometry is not yet consumable by Inventor features. He needs to create a sketch on top of the Underlay and then project the wires to the sketch by using Project DWG Geometry command. After that, the sketch should be included in 3D PDF file.
