How to change the length of an object

The photo presents the finger I designed for 3D printing. I need to print 5 fingers to create a prosthesis, middle finger has to be the longest, little finger - the shortest. I've already tried to scale them by one axis (on length) but then the hole becomes oblate and the round part doesn't fit to the next element of prosthesis. How can I change the length of a finger without loosing a shape of lower part? I was thinking about cutting it by plane, removing a fragment and than sawing it all together. But when I choose "Cut" the information appears that the operation not possible because selected component has no plane.

Please help!

I would use a parameter named something like "JOINT LENGTH".

Save the file as FINGER-1, -2, -3, etc and adjust the parameter for the desired length for each finger.

Something like illustrated below.

I like your idea but it doesn't work on my model. I'm afraid it's too complicated? Could you check it out and give me any further advice or show me like you did before?

Ignoring the problems your files have already.. (extrusion 10 and 11)

Simply edit your first sketch and change the 30mm to a different length.. (Which is basically what Mike was showing you but he named the parameter as I will suggest below along with creating an ipart)

OR even better.. Change that 30mm to "FingerLength=30" or something like that then create an ipart and now FingerLength will show up in one of the columns..

And you can create new rows and enter in all the lengths you want..

Just switch to those members and "voila" the finger gets longer..

Like mcgyvr said there are some problems in this model.

I think now you know how your model must look like included the changes that must be made for different versions, I would say;

Model you part again in a clean way so you have the possibilty change parameters easy.
