how to change sheet metal thickness

hi, attached is a photo. i have my metal thickness at 16 ga but want to make the highlighted part 18ga, is it possible to do so? thank you

go to the sheet metal tab, under setup, pick sheet metal defaults, uncheck use thickness from rule, type in the new value.

If you are wanting to change what you have highlighted only and not the entire part, your image shows a single body. You will need to create a new solid for that component. When making it a new solid, you can choose a new rule to follow:
