Inventor 2024: Export Picture (JPG, BMP...) not possible in Position?

Hello,

I made some position dependencies in an assembly and saved them. But I cannot export a high res picture of these states. Inventor wants to save always the primary position and makes then the export from this state. But I dont want to save, want to export a picture from all position states? How does it work?

Is this an inventor error or not possible?

Hi! This is an unfortunate limitation in Inventor. It is because when an assembly has non-Primary PosRep active, the iam file cannot be saved. As a result, all export workflows are blocked. The workaround is to place the assembly in another assembly (activate the desirable PosRep in the subassembly). Then export it according.
