How to assign engineers access to materials library?

It seems my regular user lacks the access to add materials to the library.

How do i go about adding this access to the engineering group?

You'll have to give those users write-permissions on the adsklib file that hosts the library, or create your own separate one. If you host your design data and material libraries already in Vault, this may be easier. Although, from personal experience, I would recommend you to ask engineers to simply save a new material separately in a local file, then let you or any librarian/admin to inject this into the main library consumed by all users.

This is not controlled by Vault.

You might want to post this in the Inventor forum.
