Hello everyone,

Can anyone please tell me how to add weld symbols in drawings, I've the assembly which will not be converted into the weldment.

Please see the photograph I've attached. It will show me to add only few weld symbols. Also I've updated my style editor, I'd check all the weld symbols but it will not show me into the welding symbol.

It looks like you have the GOST support add in loaded (Annotation (ESKD) tab).

Click on the Tools ribbon tab then the Add-Ins button on the Options panel. Unload the ESKD support add-in.

You should then get your ansi standard weld symbols.

I think that part of the language issue was the ESKD support add in. Place a new parts list with the ESKD support add-in unloaded and you should be closer to what you are looking for.

To save the parts list format changes, make the changes to the parts list style in your idw template file. You can also right click on the parts list style and select Export from the menu.

It will save it as a styxml file that you can Import into existing drawing files using the Import button in the Styles Editor.

The other add-ins are pretty much the standard add-ins. At the bottom of the Add-In Manager the description box should provide an explaination of what each add in does.

Hey,

It works for me. Thanks a lot again. And I agree with your point that they should provide an explanation of what each add in used for.

Thanks a lot buddy agian. =]
