How do I turn off an emboss in an idw?

Today I am making a set of prints for a device I've finished. On the prints I have an assembly view as well as detail views for the parts that require it. On the device one part has been embossed showing where my fabricator will stamp identification numbers. The problem is I want to get rid of the emboss on the detailed part view. Other then making a new layer does anyone know a good way to accomplish this? Not really a big issue but kind of annoying.

Thanks!

Maybe you could expand the part under the view and Right Click the emboss feature to turn off it's visibility. (You'd have to do it for each view.)

Tried that and there is no option to do so.

Then pick select as edges then RMB to turn off visibility.
(I didn't notice visibility wasn't there, I had been changing properties so mine wouldn't show up as a little ink blob, I had to use select as edges because I needed to keep some of the lines fatter.)

Have you tried a window crossing of the feature/text in you IDW and
suppressing the visibility. You may need to select each line segment
depending on your emboss.

Like this, the text was "ABS" and I have only
selected the later half for suppression.
