Hello All,
So, I use Inventor 2019 for almost all of my projects to draft drawings. I have been delivering drawings to my clients with the standard/default settings that comes with inventor with some very minor tweeks to my likings.
But now, I have been working with a Canadian client, and they want very specific things to be there on the drawing, I have found a work around for most but I cant find any solution as to how do I put these View projection / section project symbols on to the drawing that relates to views?
I have seen these symbols mostly on the drawings made in Revit.
Does Inevntor support these at all??
Any help would be very much appreciated.

Hello! You can add any kind of symbol to Inventor by creating a sketch symbol in your drawings. I hope this helps.

Oh yes. I know about that, and I was hoping to use it as a last resort if there isnt any pre-defined way of placing such a symbol, that is linked to views as well to have correct numbering an view tag etc. Otherwise its a lot of manual work this way.
Those inventor section call outs are pretty tacky. They definitely could use some sprucing up similar to the balloon overrides.
Yup true that. And it turns out many users are facing similar issues since 2010!! Surprising Autodesk havent come out with a solution yet!
