How can I change edge profiles when using freeform?

Hello, 

I am trying to model a computer mouse, and figured the freeform tool would be really helpful for the organic shapes. I've been having issues when changing to smooth mode, where the lines between vertices become twisted. Is there any way to change how these lines are shaped? It looks fine in the geometric view. I attached an example of a line with this issue. Thanks in advance!

Hi Willem,

I think you will probably need to use Match Edge workflow. Create a sketch before the Freeform and match the the Freeform edges to the sketch. Please share the ipt file so that the experts can take further look. In terms of Freeform workflows, Inventor does not have as extensive tool sets as Fusion 360. You may consider using Fusion Freeform.
