Is there a reason why Inventor stopped at 3/8" screw sizes for clearqance holes? Hex Bolt clearance holes go up to 4" bolt size.
Is my hole feature outdated? Or did it change? I seem to recall it had larger sizes.

My table acts the same for this Hex machine screw selection. Inventor hole and thread information is just a guideline and will not contain all the industry standards out of the box, but you may edit the table to expand/complete it:

A quick search online shows the standard size for Hex head Machine Screws only going to 1/2". Hex Head bolts are a different animal.
But in either case, the table can always be edited with any missing standard sizes.

That's unfortunate. Why go up to 4" on one type and not all the other? I would think they would add for Hex Bolts and Hex Screws at least. They did this for Socket Cap Screws , which, using larger than 2 inches is not common.
But thank You for the links. I will update spreadsheet.
I literally just found up to 2" with random search. Machinists handbook lists up to 3".
Are they 2 different animals? Wow who knew?
But thanks for the links with instructions for editing the tables.
