Highlight part in subassembly while viewing upper assembly

Assembly A (open in window and contains B)

Subassembly B (contains many parts and subassemblies including C)

          Part C

How do I highlight and select Part C so that I can open, turn off visibility, etc?

I can see it and I just want to click on it (or RMB and select). I don't want to spend the time searching in the browser.

Am I missing something simple?

Oh, and I want to do this in 2014 Pro.

I knew it was something simple. You'd think I would know this by now. It only matters when in a large (sub)assembly. Otherwise I always use the browser.

Thanks JD!
