Good morning,

I am annotating a model and I keep getting errors while I am trying to do the GD&T. If I had a little more time, I would watch the videos but my time is short. can someone help me with this. Thanks!! I am going to post a screenshot of the problem I am having.

What errors are you seeing?  Are you talking about the ones that indicate the Tolerance Pattern and pattern count do not match?  Or something else?

Yes,  please post screen shots.  I personally do the GD & T in the drawing, not the model.

To follow up..  If you're talking about the message that's in the tolerance advisor about the pattern and feature, the reason is, this is an imported model.  The pattern doesn't exist..  Meaning the solid dumb and doesn't see the pattern or holes.   Smiley Wink

Update:  So the tolerance advisor is checking and doesn't see any feature pattern in the model.

Thank you!! I thought something funky was going on. One more question... I see where I can retrieve the MBD GD&T annotations but it doesn't seem to work. When I click on the ribbon for that app, the box comes up but all the choices are grayed out. How do I fix that?

Well first you need to select the correct tab..  Smiley Very Happy

Secondly, look at the dialog, its asking for you to select a view...  Smiley Wink

You have numerous postings going on..  Please refrain from posting the same question https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/inventor-forum/hole-and-thread-app-not-working/m-p/7742905/highlight/... in different postings.

Because it is a dumb solid, it is not recognizing any point sketches to place holes or threads.
