Help setting up content center.

I recently installed Inventor as a stand along desktop setup.  I cannot get the content center libraries to show up anywhere in Inventor even though the files appear to have downloaded successfully.  I've redirected the project folder location for the content center, as well as the application options file and content center tabs.  Nothing seems to work to get the libraries to show up.  The inventor help says "On the Projects dialog box, click Configure Content Center Libraries." and then "Click Create Library in the Configure Libraries dialog box."  Neither of these options show up for me.  I've attached screenshots of the various steps.  Is there something else that needs to be setup first?  Thanks.

Welcome to the Autodesk User's Community..

There's 2 part configuration of Inventor Content Center and based on your information you're combining them together..  Smiley Wink

In Tools/Application Options/Content Center tab..  Point to the location where your content center (desktop) libraries are.  Which you did already.

In Tools/Application Options/Files tab..  Point to a location where the content center members will reside after you place them into an assembly.  This should not be the same location where your libraries reside.   However I like to leave this as the default location and define this location under the active project file/folder option.

Also in your active Project file, folder option you can define the location of where your content center files will be stored when they are placed into an assembly.

Now to the problem of not seeing information within in content center.

First click on the configure content center icon (lowest icon/right side/lower pane) of the active project file.  Is any of those content center libraries shown in red?

Next when you launch Inventor content center, do you have any filters running?

bfolck.husker,

Good morning!  In the Projects Browser, click on the "Configure Content Center Libraries" Icon in the lower right hand corner of the screen.  Once inside this configurator, verify that the content center libraries are in the correct location and then check the boxes next to any libraries that you want to access for that particular project.  Please note that each project file can have a different configuration.  Please see the images below for reference.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.  Hope this helps and have a most blessed day!

There is not a button in the lower right for "Configure Content Center Libraries."  The project dialog box on my pictures does not look like the pictures in the post below yours.

Sorry I missed that when I looked at your image...

I would suggest that you reset your Inventor profile per these steps.

Can you share a screenshot of your Projects Browser?  Do you share this project file with any other users?

One more thing...  What updates/hot fixes/service packs have you applied to Inventor 2015?  You can confirm Help/About Inventor screen.

Do you think reinstalling inventor would solve the issue?

Yes, that's when the Interactive_Tutorials project showed up, but nothing else changed.
