I'am not English, i use a translator, sorry for the error. :

Hi all
Here, in my high school, we use Inventor 2019, so far, no problem at them it works, it is when I want to install it at home that it bug. I had to register as a student, enter the name of my high school ect... I may have accessed Inventor's installation file. I started installing a part on my disk C: (Obligatory) and another part on my hard drive K: (Another secondary) alas, all it didn't go too well since at the end of the installation, it failed that some software (2 or 3) I had more room. Today I've finished the installation, but when I launch Inventor 2019, it loads and disappears quickly, a split second, but it does not launch.
What for?
If anyone has an answer I'd be a taker, thank you.

Welcome to the Autodesk User's Community..

This usually points to an outdated graphics card (driver) or an unsupported graphics card.

Nowhere in your specs have you listed the graphics card driver.

In addition go to Windows Device manager and locate your graphics card, right mouse click and select properties and then the driver tab.   What is the date of the driver?

How did you install?  Using the install now function?

Hi Ethan,

This sounds like an install related issue. I am sorry I don't understand why Inventor installs something on one drive and installs something else on another drive. Are you running out of harddrive space? Please uninstall it using Autodesk Uninstall Tool (All Programs -> Autodesk -> Autodesk Uninstall Tool). Clean up %temp% and make sure you have enough space in one drive. Then install Inventor 2019 again.

Many thanks!

Hello.

Sorry for the late reponse,

My graphics card is one: GeForce NVIDIA GT 720

It has 2GB of memory, and the driver dates from 05/05/2019, I'll see if there's a newer version (In a few minutes, at the time of the answer so on 08/09/2019 at 19:23 (Date - PARIS time / France)

Yes, it's very likely that the problem comes from the installation, I was asking myself a question, considering as one has the right to two installation (Normally) I thought installed it on another Windows, let it finish the installation, and put the disk externally (So go back on my normal Windows version) and launch it, so that the disk is no longer in C: but another letter, would be possible?

Thank you for your help again!

Hi Ethan,

I don't believe it will work. Also, it may not be able to find the license. This is how Inventor works. Please install it on a static drive.

Many thanks!

Hi,

Okay, So I'm going to install everything on my C: from my current Windows,
On the other hand, I hope he will not resettle me all? Ex: Autodesk Recap, or things like that, I only want Inventor, and parts.
