Help on "Detail" view editing

Hello all, 

Is there anyway i can remove this box around a detail view once pulled out? 

the box needs to be removed to add relevant information such as dimensioning etc. but u cant seem to figure out how to remove or hide it? (I'm happy to keep the "A (1:1)" if possible but not the end of the world if that needs to be hidden in order to hide the box)

Is it the dotted line box or the solid line that you're referring to?

So are you wanting it to look like A below rather than B? 

If so then you can change the view properties by RMB clicking the view in the browser and change the Cutout Shape

Hi, you can try this.

Create a new layer in the styles editor with the lightbulb off. 

Find 'detail cut line' in object defaults and select this layer. 

It should now hide the outline. This will apply to all details in the document.
