I'm trying to run a sweep on 3D sketch. The sketch is a simple one revolution helix using the the equation curve.
x(t): 50*t*cos(360*t)
y(t): 50*t*sin(360*t)
z(t):50*t
t(min):0, t(max):1
See pic. Any help appreciated.

Hi @Anonymous,
Can you upload your files?
The main issue looks to be that your profile will self-intersect which means you need either increase the radius of the path or decrease the radius of the profile.
Have you looked at the coil command?
Attach your *.ipt file here as suggested by @leowarren34
It appears that this profile is not perpendicular to the path (and my guess the other end too).
What are you attempting to model?
Do you have a picture or link to something similar that already exists in the real world?
The attached file SSP.ipt shows the coil I'm trying to build. I'm just trying to make one end have a large diameter opening and the other small. Thanks in advance
Examine the sketches that I made perpendicular to your 3D curve.
