Hatch incorrect section of part body in drawing (Inventor 2021 )

Hi all, I'm having an issue with hatches in drawings involving a cross section view and detail view of said cross section.

In the screenshot I've attached, view C on the right shows hatching on part 10, but in the wrong area. Where you see the hatching are actually holes in that part, and the rest of the body is missing of hatching. If you look closely at source section view on the left, you'll see the hatch correctly on the body.

This issue often occurs on the same component in this layout of drawing (section + detail of section), even though I use different sizes/models per drawing. Occasionally, the part bubbles also behave strangely with this issue; the spot I select with the leader jumps away somewhere else, or the line of the body might not be clickable even though it gets highlighted when I mouse over it.

Would anyone have an explanation of what is going on?

Hi! I am trying to understand the behavior. I suspect this could be due to interference geometry. Try this. Edit the view -> Display Options -> check Interference Edges. Does it work better now?

Open the assembly -> Inspect -> run Interference Analysis. Make sure components all have enough clearance.

Lastly, it could be bad geometry related. In the assembly, press Ctrl+F7. Are there any bad bodies reported in the dialog? If yes, please open the part containing the bad geometry and go through Repair Bodies workflow.

Many thanks!

This Interference Geometry setting appears to do the trick. Thanks Johnson.

With the way I model bolts and mate corresponding holes, there will always be interference because the bolt will be made to the external diameter of its thread and the hole will be made to the inner diameter of its thread. I tested removing the grub screws in the view and that fixed it immediately as well.
