GLB Translator conversion issue.

Hi Team,

I am actively converting .iam files to .glb files either using save copy as or using vba macros. Most of the time it is saying process is completed, but when i checking in the directory, there is no such files generated. Then what i do is deleting the some of the child components inside the iam file and try again converting in a trial-and-error basis to find out what is causing the conversion process.

Hi! Could it be due to bad geometry? Open one of the assembly that could exhibit the behavior. Press Ctrl+F7 (make sure C:\Temp exists). Is there any bad body reported in the dialog?

Hello sir,

PFA for detailed logs.

Though it mentioned bad solid body, I opened the bad solid component (few sample) tried glb conversion, it successfully created the glb file for that bad solid body.

Hi! Many thanks for sharing the file! Indeed, there are quite a few bad bodies in the parts. If you filter out those parts, does the export work better? If yes, it proves that the export failure is indeed bad bodies related. Another test to try is to export it as STEP (in a different folder) and import it back to Inventor. Does glb export work better?

kindly refer the debug file, before and after removal of bad bodies. still translation process was not successful.

yes, iam->stp->iam->glb this workaround was working perfectly but this is time and space consuming activity and also duplication of files in drives
