Hello,

i am trying to create a flat pattern of a part in which i have created a cutout which is circular and not perpendicular.

Because of this is think i can not create a flat pattern. Attached the ipt and an image of it.

Is it possible to set thickness to zero (neutral line)?

regards, Jan

Hi Jan-TSpD,

I would suggest that you select the beveled faces, and the bottom / inside face and delete them all with the Delete Face tool. This will leave you with a single top / outside face. Then you can use the Thicken tool to add the thickness back, without the beveled edges.

I hope this helps.
Best of luck to you in all of your Inventor pursuits,
Curtis
