I am unable to list all parts in my assembly- that has multiple sub assemblies. The solutions available in the forum is not working for me. Is there any workaround.

Is your assembly an iAssembly? If so - you won't be able to see the Parts Only in it. Create another assembly, place the iAssembly child into it. In this assembly you will get your Parts Only option again.

Cheers,

Igor.

Thanks a lot Igor for your reply. I am new to using inventor, as far as I can understand I am not using iassembly.

I fixed the problem for time being by  creating a new .idw file. It created parts list for the first time as per reference discussion attached. But for a new worksheet under an existing idw file this solution wont work.

Likely it is the presence of balloons linked to the existing partslist that is causing your issues. After placing a partslist for the first time until you balloon one of the items you are free to change the style. After placing item balloons , In order to change the style you will need to delete the balloons. Kind of a weird one which leads to extra work but that is how the functionality works.
