Frustrating Selection Issue

i've a serious issue in Inventor that's been plaguing me for a while now. when selecting features or faces in the view window, the little selection expansion menu keeps popping up behind my house and blocking the subsequent click in a double-click. it's rather random, but happens more often than not. it's easier to show on a video, so i included one at the link below. this is the second PC of mine where this is happening. seems like a bug, but i don't see it anywhere in our office with another user.

i've also attached the about info for the Inventor Version.

Hi

This small buttons panel gives access to management (edit, visibility, etc.) of the elements that built the indicated feature.

But the reason is different - you have set the selection priority to features. This means that you are not pointing at surfaces, as you mentioned, but at building blocks. Naturally, double-clicking on an feature edits it - exactly as if you had pointed at feature in a browser.

The selection priority can be changed in the quick access bar (at the top of the window) or with the Shift + RMB shortcut.

could you watch the video again with your volume turned up? what you described is what is SUPPOSED to be happening. but if you turn your volume up and listen to my mouse clicks, you will hear that most of the licks are not going to the model. they are going to the little marker menu that pops up.

I wonder if this might be caused by the graphics card or the second monitor.

Hi! You may want to check a few things.

1) Go to Windows Display settings and select the recommended resolution and scale.

2) Find Inventor desktop icon -> right-click on it -> Properties -> Compatibility -> Change High DPI settings.

3) If you are using dual monitors, set the one hosting Inventor as the primary display.

Many thanks!
