Hello,

How do I create a Flange that extends to a sloped extent using the dialog box ? Right now I have to measure and input the amount manually as it wont accept the selection ....

Thx

Hi!

You must have solid to use "To" option, you must select a vertex.

Just another idea.
I often use Face tool instead of a 0º flange.

As a bonus, Face tool as the ability to connect with other edges.

Hi

Please edit Flange2 and change "By value" to "Reference" in dialogbox.

Hello,

Thx for helping.

I perhaps didn't explain clearly. The result I need is the one I presented. I am only looking to extend a 0 degree tab as shown in my model.  I am not looking to do an angled bend.

Thx

I think it will be easier to parameterize this by using Face and projecting the point to the 2d constraint.

You can also report it on Idea Station.

Hi! Before you start the command, you want to create a workpoint based on the end point of the line. Then in the Flange dialog, select the edge and click on Flange Angle dropdown -> Reference -> pick the workplane -> pick the workpoint as the terminating object.

Many thanks!
