Frame generator part number issue

Hi I have setup my file name defaults to create the part number based on my assembly name, which works.

I had to change the section sizes, after the changes where made the part number in the BOM changed to the default name.

But the node names stayed the same as what it was.

In my BOM on my drawing it shows the default numbers and not the numbers I have assigned.

I can't seem to be able to rename it, does anyone have a solution for me?

I don't use frame generator regulary I hope it is my lack of knowledge regarding th FG, and that it is fixable.

Thank you

Try following:

And then set it to default.

If that doesn't work a rebuild can help (manage tab):

If that doesn't work open the FG file part from the menu.

When you have the part open switch to Modeling in the top of the browser.

Click double with a pause so you can edit the name. Delete the name and click once in the browser space so the right part number appears. Save.

Thanx @tobias

What seems to also fix the issue is to rename it in vault.

I renamed all my parts in vault with a 'New' prefix, and then renamed it again where I removed the prefix, now the names and nodes are the same.

I did try the rename nodes browser nodes before I posted, I could not get it to work.

The one up side of having to rename the parts is that I now have them in the exact cronological order I want them to appear on the drawing.

The file naming settings control file naming, not part numbers.  The root of your problem is that you are conflating the two.  File naming is controlled in Application Options.  However the Part Number is defined in your Content Center Family Table.  The screenshots you show in your original post seem like you customized the file naming in Application Options, but left the part numbering at the defaults in your CC table.
