Frame Generator Orientation Problem

Anonymous
Not applicable

I'm using frame generator with unequal angle iron to create the base for one of my designs.  However, I have the long part of the angle on the bottom and I need to change the orientation so that the long part is at the top, and I am unable to use the rotation feature to get the pieces in the correct orientation.  Is there a way to do this?  Thanks.

I've attached my assembly.

Hi!

Missing the skeleton part.

Anyway, this is custom profile? did you publish it in content center, or is a content center standard part?

I used the frame generator and content center 3x5x1/4 angle.

I've attached the skeleton.  Does this help?

Thanks.

Hi! Please edit the frame member and check Align option -> pick a static reference to align (one of the X, Y, Z axes or planes).

Many thanks!

Thanks for your help.   I'm still struggling to get the frame the way I want.

I've attached a picture.  I need to rotate the member so that the back of the tall side is on the outside.

Nevermind - I figured it out.  I had to choose points instead of the edge when initially placing my frame members, and then click the change directions button to get it to go the other way.

Thank you so much for your help.  This forum is always so helpful and I appreciate it a lot.
