Hi All,
I was trying to run a frame analysis to a fram generated with Frame Generator.
However, when I used the Merge Frame Members upon creating beams, these beams was not supported in the Analysis.
Furthermore, one can see in the model that there is no line (beam) where the merge function were applied.
(the red line is where it whould have been a beam)
Anyone know why this happens?
It happens on three beams in my model, and all of them where made by using the merge members function.
For information, all members are created using the same material and dimensions.
Br,

Have you tried editing your sketch so that you end up not using the "Merge" option?
Also, is the member inserted from one of the Standard Inventor Content Center Libraries?
Hi @uday3C ,
I know I can edit the sketch, and will just do this task as a workaround.
However, I find this "bug" a bit strange. If the merge option do lead to this "bug" then it probarbly should be an easy fix for the future...?
FYI the beams are standard SHS 200x200x10 with a material that is standard from the Inventor "stock" (not a company specific material added to the inventory).

Well Noted Frank. And I've tried to do the same on my end and I can confirm that I also get the same error.
Perhaps, someone from the Autodesk team can look into this query.
Thanks for checking on your end.
Since this sounds like a glitch in the software, one could hope that it is fixed in an upcoming release.
Even though it is not a big problem to work around, it was annoying the first time i noticed it 😞
Moreover, I made a post in the idea forum (even it is not an actual idea) so we just have to wait and see what happens 🙄
