Frame Generator Drawing Each frame

Hi, I have created a detailed frame with different types of members and end caps etc, I want to create fabrication drawings of each member as trying to create one drawing of the whole model would be too messy. Is there any way of selecting the members and creating a drawing of them separately?

Yes, every  member in frame generator is a separate file so you just create a drawing for each one.

One way that might speed it up is, when you have one drawing done:

Do a save as with the next part number

click 'replace model reference'

choose the next member to be detailed.

Hopefully it updates and you have minimal tweaks to do.

Thanks that sounds like the solution to my problem, however what if i want to have 3 parts in one drawing for example a beam with two end plates, is this possible to all be in the same drawing? Thanks.

You can put as many parts as you like in a drawing until you run out of paper

Hi Scott.

When we create a structure with a frame, a folder is created with the individual pieces inside, the name of the folder is assimilated to that of the assembly. Look for it as I will indicate and from there you can create the plan of your pieces individually like any other piece.
The only thing that can be complicated is identifying the name of it but it is a matter of identifying it previously.

I hope this information is useful to you, greetings.
