Frame Generator Custom Properties

I need my custom properties to be part of the frame generator parts.  For example, when I create parts in an assembly and open the parts, they each have custom properties that I set up. When I open up an angle that was created by frame generator, the custom properties are not there. The only way to get the custom properties to the frame generator part is to use the Design Assistant tool provided by Autodesk. Is it possible to have the custom properties in the frame generator parts automatically? It would streamline the process for the company I work for.

It is an easy process to add custom properties to your Frame Generator members.  Simply add the properties to your custom frame generator library and map it to your custom properties as shown in the screen capture below and you are all set.  Take a look at the screencast to see the complete process and a demo of its use.

Welcome to the Autodesk User's Community..

To clarify what @jhackney1972 is stating..  You'll first need to create a custom read/write content center library and copy over the structural information for a provided read only content center library.  Then you can edit your custom read/write CC library and add your required iProperties.

I don't have the column that you are showing there.

You have to add a new column by using the icons at the top left side of the table.  Name it anything you like.  You are obviously new to custom content center libraries so I suggest that you take  Mark's advise and review his posted articles on the creation of custom content center libraries.
