Frame Generator Custom Profile BOM Query

Hi All,

Just need a little assistance with the bill of materials structure of a custom profile used through frame generator.

The bill of materials is displaying all the Frame members as one item even if the lengths are different.

Is it possible to display different lengths as a separate item eg: All members sized at 1m length are one item and then 2m  length are represented as another item.

Hi! I thought I had replied to this request just recently. You can enable Part Only BOM View. Then click on the second button on the top -> uncheck " Enable Row Merge on Part Number Match."

Hello, Can anyone help.

I'm trying to create a parts list of a custom created Profile.

When I create a frame with FG an existing profile from the CC the Parts list is correct.

But when I change it to my custom profile I only get the total length or all appart

I think, It has to do something with the BOM structure or my IPT file but can not figure out what's wrong.

Can't figure out what's the problem.

So this is what I want:

Just changed the custom frame to an Original CC frame and the BOM in my IDW is correct

 without changing anything else!

My colleage has the same problem.

Both INV 2021

In INV 2019 I never had this problem.

Hi Steve,

If I understand your request correctly, you don't want the frame members of the same size to be merged into one row in the PartsList, right? To unmerge them, open the assembly and go to BOM table -> click on the button in the middle (Part Number Row Merge Settings) -> uncheck "Merge rows on Part Number matches."
