I am working on a frame assembly. The file was sent to me as a STEP file from a solidworks user, so the frame members are each individual ipts. I need to modify some of the frame members, so I am trying to replace them using the frame generator so that I can make easier mods in the future.
I created a reference sketch and then installed a frame member (member #1). I then mirrored that member #1, and then patterned both of those frame members to another location 21" away.
I then wanted to move on to another part. I created a new reference sketch and installed a frame member (member #2). But for some reason that I am not understanding, this part was automatically mirrored and patterned in the same way as member #1.
How can I stop this from happening? The reference sketches are separate, but all the frame members are being nested only under the first reference sketch. How can I remove this associativity?

Hi! Frame Gen creates one Frame subassembly per one top-level assembly. You cannot create two separate Frame subassemblies. It does not work. Please share the files here. Forum experts can take a look and comment further.
Many thanks!
