Forshortend Dimensions or Broken Dim's

Im still stuck on Version 11, and dont know if this is even in that version or version 2008 does Inventor have this, If it does where is it?

See the attachment, the 4.000 dimension is a paint edit to the dimension.

In detail view you can create dimensions only between visible edges displayed in detail and also between model work features that can lay also out of detail view boundary.

One possible workaround:
- create workplane in sheet metal model in the middle of part
- in drawing browser RMC on part under detail view node -> Include work features -> User work planes
- General dimension -> create linear symmetric dimension - select edge and workplane and then RMC and choose linear symmetric from dim type
- if you don`t want to display double arrow, edit arrowhead and change it to none
- RMC on work plane and uncheck its visibility
- break symbol is not displayed on linear symmetric dimension
