HI Everyone
I am wanting to make a partial conical shape by rolling it up from a flat piece.
See attached, I have drawn how it looks when it is finished and rolled.
How do I "flat pattern" this.
For the sake of illiustrating I have just drawn it up using "revolve" not any sheet metal functions.

okay everyone
After asking Mr Google, he passed me onto utube,
and I got the answer
My apologies, I should have done that in the first place before coming on to the forum
Hi, in the video I show you a faster and easier way of what you are trying to achieve, I hope it is useful to you. You don't need to waste a lot of time making the sketch or too many features involved, I hope it is useful to you

Thanks Sergio
Yes much the same as the video I found.
Create the cone in sheet metal with a gap in it so it is not closed.
Then flat pattern it

Hi
Do not use solid modeling tools for sheet metal.
Use roll instead rotation.
