Flatten pattern won't work! Help!

So, this will unfold, but it won't flatten in a drawing. What did I do wrong?

Always a good idea to include the version of the software you are using in your post. I know your image shows the info, but a lot of folks won't bother looking at files/images if the version isn't identified in the post.

I'm still stuck using 2012, so I can't offer any help on this one.

You haven't created the "Flat Pattern" yet. It will show up under the "End of Folded" when you have.

When placing view on IDW, you will have the option to place "Folded Model" or "Flat Pattern".

Just as an FYI, using the "Hole" command allows easier control of your hole features. Setting up "Styles" will result in more acurate geometry of flat patterns, and will allow auto-populate of the "Title Block"

Sorry, I should have mentioned that I was trying to create a "Flat Pattern" in the IDW. I can unfold it in the part IPT, but the "Flat Pattern" option is greyed out on the IDW.

As noted by others.

Nope, never will.

Drawing environment is 2D.  Never will create a Flat Pattern feature in drawing.

Flat Pattern feature must be created in modeling environment before retrieving in drawing environment.

Unfold and Flat Pattern are two entirely different features.

Have you installed Service Pack 1 and Update 1?

And it will be "Greyed out" until you "Flat Pattern" it in the IPT.
