Hi

I would like to learn how to create a flat pattern from the solid body 3D Model.

At least that is i believe what i need to do to create like a net/template/pattern of outer faces only. I am not interested in shapes and faces inside.

Here is the solid body I have created following the steps in video https://youtu.be/RFgXOY8WH04

Any help much appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

You really only need one panel (x60) and Inventor Nesting. (but I haven't tried this tool)

Thank you @JDMather I will recreate what you have presented without the edges tho because I really don't need them. I am aware that in this case I only need one face but I am learning this for the shapes which won't be symmetrical. I have not come across the Inventor Nesting yet so thank you for that suggestion. I will have a go at it. Thank you for your help.
