Flat Pattern Breaks Alignment

Hi,

I´m trying to align several views of a part on a inventor drawing.

This part is very long to fit on the page so I´m using several breaks, they auto align when the views are created with projected view.

The problem starts when I put the flat pattern, I can align the position but not the breaks.

So, I basically have all the projected views with the breaks aligned but not the flat pattern view.

Anyone have any sugestion how to do this?

Thanks.

Hi!

You can give a vertical or horizontal align between the flat pattern view and other one projected view.

Then you have to make the breaks manually in the flat pattern and try the most to be equal to the aligned view's break.

Thanks for the fast reply.

Yes, that´s what I´m doing: align the flat pattern with a projected view and manually align the breaks in the flat pattern but if I use 4 or 5 breaks it´s almost impossible to align.

I tought there´s a way of doing this automatically.

A great idea to add to the Inventor IdeaStation : http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/inventor-ideastation/idb-p/v1232

I don't know if this exact request was posted, but if you follow the link in post #4 and search the board for "break align" you'll get several suggestions that seem related. (dimensioning breaks for instance)
