Fittings Not Exported in Data Exchange from Inventor

Hi everyone,

I'm encountering an issue when creating a Data Exchange from Autodesk Inventor. It seems that fitting geometry (such as pipe fittings) is not included in the generated exchange.

To clarify:

  • The fittings are visible in the Inventor assembly.
  • They exist in the project structure.
  • However, when viewing the Data Exchange in Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), the fittings are missing.

I've attached three images:

  1. Inventor view – showing the complete model.
  2. Project structure – confirming that the fittings are included.
  3. Data Exchange in ACC – where the fittings are missing.

Has anyone experienced this issue before? Could it be a setting, a known limitation, or something else? Any guidance on how to ensure the fittings are properly included would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Hi @nielsbleijenburg ,

Thanks your reporting! I tried with two local data in Inventor 2024 & 2025 with Data Exchange but seems they work fine. Is it possible to share your dataset to me for testing? Many thanks!FDX_AccDoc.jpg

Hi @JarFu,

Thanks for your response. I have attached a pack-and-go.

After further investigation, I found that the fittings are not the problem, but rather the objects inserted from the Content Center.

I'm curious to see the results of your tests. Thanks in advance!

Thanks your quick update, @nielsbleijenburg!

Yes, with your data fittings can be exported as well, but I saw the invisible component shows and some colors change in the data exchange. Is the same as yours?customer_data.png

What could be the problem?

Hello @nielsbleijenburg,

Could you please let me know which version of Inventor and Inventor Connector you're using? Also, could you provide the dataset you're using for testing purposes?

Thank you!

Hi Shubham,

Inventor 2025, connector version 1.0.44. I attached a pack and go.

Really hope you could help me find an answer 🙂

Hi @nielsbleijenburg ,

Apologies for the delayed response. I’ve been able to reproduce the issue with the file you shared. I’ve raised it internally to investigate the cause, and we aim to resolve it in the upcoming sprint.

Thank you for your patience!
