Finding Common Parts Online

I'm fairly new to Inventor and I'm wondering if there are locations where I can find common industrial items.

Like pintle hooks and loops, metal plastic faced wheels, 8" dia. specifically, for industrial carts and such things.

In this case, I'm also looking for ball joints that I can use for a 4-wheel steer cart.

None of these things need to be exact for what I need, just good representations.

It's the items above/mounted to the cart that are important.

Any help would be grealy appriciated.

Lots of places.. even the part manufacturers websites have files..

More than likely most will have STEP (stp) files.. Thats the best neutral cad format..

cbliss.com is another site (native Inventor files)

Manufacturers often have STEP files of their parts.  Sometimes they're found on their websites, and sometimes you'll have to email them for the files.

Sometimes some repair work is needed - in that case attach the file here or reference url.

Someone will demonstrate how to fix it up.

Well I was able to find a pintle hook but have been unable; at least so far; to find a pintle loop to use on my tugger cart.

I tried quite a fw different locations and have come up empty.

Do any of you know where I can find a simple version of a loop?

Sounds like something that would take less time to model than to search for?

I'm still having that problem with constraining the radius/loop to a point on the block.

I know I'm missing what most likely is a simple step in the process.
