Filtering Content Center by Library

Hi

We have just added our own custom CC library. We are copying a family set from the built in ANSI library into our library to edit the description / material based on what we typically use.

How can we filter our own library so that we dont accidentally use the parts from the ANSI library? i cant see a filter anywhere a way of setting our Company as a manufacturer

Thanks

The best way to do this is to edit the Family Properties of your custom content to show the two fields that are use by the Content Center Filter, Manufacturers and Standard Organizations.  You will then have everyone use the Content Center filter so they will only see the Custom Content Center Parts.  Below are a couple of screen captures illustrationing the settings.  One of the Family Properties dialog and one of the Content Center Filter settings.

Did you copy or save copy as this ANSI family?  If you do a copy which links it to the original family your custom family becomes priority and overshadow the original one or you dont see it when placing from CC

Hello,

or go simple way, modify Inventor project file, exclude ANSI library, include your user read/write library. Only "ANSI" families from you read/write library will be visible/available.
