Filling in a cored solid

I have a step file from a vendor. The part is hollow, as though the designer used whatever his native cad calls the Shell command. How do I fill it in, leaving no empty space inside? Im using 2019 if it makes a difference.

Can you Attach the original file here?

Do the surfaces form a watertight boundary?

Should only one component, or many components?

Can you post an image?

Are you familiar with using the Repair or Construction environments to repair imported geometry?

OK, I misunderstood.

The Workplane in the Attached file isn't really needed - I simply added it so that you could easily see what I did while in Half Section View.

In my attempt, I placed a workplane in the part, similar to @TheCADWhisperer's Work Plane1, then used the Sculpt tool,  picked that workplane, OK.  In both mine and JD's, there are still a couple of small voids near the complicated end; I was able to eliminate them with the same technique by placing a workplane parallel to the YZ plane at a distance of .20" and again using Sculpt.

Oops, I guess I didn't dig deep enough.

Hmm, that reminds me of another technique - Select Voids.  Back in a minute.

Yep, Delete Face with Lump/Void selected works nicely, too.  A bit tricky to select the voids unless you do section view, though.

Edit: Also, I can't seem to select those two small voids around the holes.  Sculpt works with those, but not Delete Face, as far as I can tell.

I had used this technique to fill voids in another part but this one is difficult to see.

There are so many edges in that area that it is hard to make out.

I've tried similar techniques like Jeffrey and Sam. I've expected a symmetrical base part

Let's hope I found all gaps. (2019 IPT)
