Help!  Got a new computer.  Lost some settings in the process.  Running into issues with (single user) project files.  I get the subject title message when trying to save a file that I know with 100% certainty is under the project folder.  I don't understand why this is happening.

Project folder: C:\Users\MyName\Documents\Inventor\

Path of the file I am trying to save:  C:\Users\MyName\Documents\Inventor\RIG - Coil Tubing\RIG10\RIG1000001.iam

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.  Problem is breaking my brain.

Hi @merkamp

are there any Library components referenced in your assembly? if that is the case you need to add the path to those Library folders under the project settings

let me know if this helps, otherwise, you can reach out to me and we can check it out together

Best

Ali

Hi Ali,

If you mean Content Center parts - yes, there are some hardware (nuts, bolts) components in the assembly.

Path for Default Content Center files:

%USERPROFILE%\Documents\Inventor\Content Center Files\R%RELEASE%\

I understand that CC files are also important, but what I meant was files that are centralized as Library items and would need to be added to the Project definition.

To my recollection, I've never used Libraries.  Not sure I understand the difference between Libraries & Content Center Files.  There are no files I can see under that folder on my computer.

I've been using Inventor for several years and don't recall ever going into that particular line item.

if possible call me and we can check it out together, it's not easy to diagnose this without seeing what is going on, or if possible, share your project here

Thanks

Ali
