features and circular pattern

Hi!

I need to do extrude based on the this shapes.

as shoud be.jpg

There should be 18 arcs tangent to each other.

I want  to use exreude  and then create circular pattetrn using these features.

This is what I get:unaligned.png

My question is how do I calculate the dimension of the first feature, so the others will be tangent  one to another

Thank you!

Here is another way

Make your Circle

Now your Arc

Now Pattern your Arc with 18ul

As you can tell the Arc's are not tagent to one another.  to make them tagent.  Select the 2 points of adjacent Arcs and make the value 0

then simply extrude or loft to the required length

@Anonymous, thanks for reply,

but method of @mcgyvr is best for me since I want to extrude the feature and not the sketch.

Thanks!
