Re: FEA thin bodies

I am trying to perform FEA on a particular part and I am not getting any results. I know it has to do with thin bodies, I am not all that familiar with thin bodies. So I was hoping if I post my part that someone would be able to look at it and tell me how to get some results because right now it just closes with no results.

Screen door on a submarine?

What exactly are you trying to solve with your FEA analysis, with a fixed constraint around base and on a ring opening oposite the Pressure Load.

This is the centertube of a filter cartridge, the ends would be fixed with end caps and 100 psi of flow will be flowing from inside out.

This is a flow problem that requires Simulation CDF and can't be done in Inventor.
