FCF Symbols Incorrect

Hello,

I think I have stumbled onto an Inventor bug. I have been using ASME Y14.5 2009 symbols for awhile now without any issue, until now. I researched online for a fix but that does not work.

Problem:

When using "unequally disposed" symbol in the FCF, it gives me the incorrect symbol. I tried the Continuous Feature {CF} symbol with the same wrong character results.

I checked Manage/Style and Standard Editor and the symbols are loaded.

I research online and followed the instructions to no avail.

Special characters and symbols are not displayed correctly in drawings in Inventor (autodesk.com)

Is there a resolution for this? If so, may I, have it?

Hi! This should be an AMGDT font or an AIGDT font issue. Please install the font from the Support article page or find it from the Inventor install. After the fonts are installed, reboot the machine. Does it work better then?

I installed the linked font and rebooted before listing this request. The "unequally disposed" and "continuous feature" symbols are not listed in either of the fonts you listed, AMGDT & AIGDT.

What is the path to the Inventor install? Looking for it now.

This seems to be a global issue. I checked with 2 other users and they have the same issue. So it may be safe to say that if three of us have this issue the other 180+ company users have it too.

We had an outdated AIGDT___.ttf font file installed (1.003 to 1.005).

Follow these steps:

1. Go to Settings/Personalizations/Fonts and double-click on the "AIGDT" font.
2. The window below appears.
3. Click the "Uninstall" button.
    

Steps continued:

1. Copy the attached font file anywhere on your laptop.
2. Right-click/Install
3. Close Inventor
4. Good to go!
    

Sorry, I tried to copy the new font file here but *.ttf files are not supported.
