Fastener Information in a Drawing Hole Table

In an Inventor drawing, has anyone noticed that even though there are columns (Fastener Fit, Fastener Size and Faster Type) available in a hole table the columns come with no information?

If a part has fasteners, the hole table only shows information regarding the hole and not the fasteners even though that fastener info columns are available.

Hi Herm,

What you have is correct and works only for clearance holes. How about tapped holes?

Thanks,

Shaya

What would be the point for tapped holes?

The thread already specifies the "fastener size"..  There is no "fit" for threaded holes.. and the "fastener type" is used to default it to c'bore/c'sink options during hole creation...

On a straight hole I've never really seen the need to supply fastener information at the part/hole level. Since you don't have any hardware at the part level, this information should be at the assembly level where the fasteners reside.

The only information should pertain to what's in the IPT and not what's going to be in the IAM.
