Hello, I have a problem with dwg drawings imported to inventor. Often, but not always Invnetor doesn't see closed profiles on my drawings - as shown on the record. Files looks fine to me - there is no problem when I try do it again in fusion 360. Attached screencast links - dwg import with invnetor and fusion 360 .

See Attached.

Given that much of the geometry was Splines - I recommend remodeling from scratch natively in Inventor.

Hi! I think you may want to leverage DWG Underlay workflow. Start a new part -> Import -> pick the dwg file -> pick an origin plane and the origin to place the dwg file.

After that, you can start a new sketch and project the geometry using "Project DWG Geometry" command. The dwg file contains blocks. I suggest you break project constraint and create sketch blocks (right-click on ribbon -> Show Panels -> Layout).

Many thanks!
