Fading in parts - Inventor studio

Hi,

I have searched these forums, and all similar posts appear unanswered....

I am creating an animation in Inventor Studio (Inventor 2015 version) and I want to 'fade in' a component as it hits my conveyor bed. I have no problem fading components out, however, when i try to manually imput a value in the fade dialogue box to start at 0%, I am prohibited from doing so?

My image attached illustrates exactly what i am after. The three packs on the right should be invisible until they each come in to contact with my conveyor.

Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated....

Thanks,

Paul

I'm not very familiar with making animations but couldn't you just play the animation backwards?

---edit---

Ok, just gave it a try in studio.

Here's how i made a fade in:

Make a fade out on your desired items for the desired time

On the animation timeline select the fade out, right-click on it and choose "mirror"

Drag the time of the fade out to 0 and move the mirror to the starting position.

Done!

(don't delete the fade out or the fade in won't work.)
