factory members not generating

i have been working with iparts and iassemblies for the last few weeks.

i recently started a new assembly and copied, modified, and renamed some iparts to be used.

i renamed the members inside the table to match the filename of the new ipart.

when i try to generate the member files i get an error (that tells me nothing, "failed to save factory member")

there are no existing files, or folders for these parts. I have tried, "rebuild all".

i tried restarting my computer, restarting Inventor. No luck, same result.

Anyone have a clue? What am i missing?

Could you not have a file name column designated as indicated in this article https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/inventor-products/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Error-Failed-to-save-factory-member-when-generating-iPart-members.html   (Meaning its the same thing in your other posting)
