Dear all,

currently I am only able to export the Structured BOM (either 1st Level only or all Levels) and a Parts Only list of the Model.

johanneshoreis_1-1704284360502.png

is there a way to export not the BOM, but the Model structure as it is?

e.g.:

Assembly.iam

Assembly2.iam

Part1.ipt

Part2.ipt

Part3.ipt

Part1.ipt:2 (used again)

Of course I would ideally also be able to export Thumbnails, Quantity, iProperties like Material, etc. with it.

Just like a BOM Export.

Thank you very much.

Hi!

No. There's not a way to do all that.

... unless you printscreen the browser tree... 🙄

Hi Folks,

There is a very low-tech way to do that. Go to BOM table -> Model Data -> expand all rows -> multi-select all rows -> right-click -> Copy. Start a new Excel spreadsheet -> Paste.

Many thanks!

Oh, right! That works. and the resulting Excel is a plain list of all items without the hierarchy. (So one still has to format it after export manually to get a full "structure").

expanding all rows by hand is tedious. Is there a way to do it with a right click somewhere?

I will not mark it as an answer, because I asked for the model structure. But thanks for that tip!

Cheers.
