Exporting mesh from FEA environment

I've created a mesh in the FEA environment that I would like to export to STL.

This is what my current mesh looks like:

When I go to save as > stl file, the output mesh is this:

Is there a way to save my particular mesh to file?

Thanks in advance.

Hello @francesco.dinh,

Try to modify the option when exporting stl file, select the High resolution and modify the Surface deviation may help you a little bit.

Hope it helps!

Thanks! This is more or less ok but it doesn't let me correctly discretize the surface in some specific surfaces, if I understand correctly. Would there be a method to just export the FEA mesh?

Hi! Unfortunately, Inventor FEA does not allow the resultant mesh to be exported. You will need to use Autodesk NASTRAN In-CAD to export it.

You can navigate to below post for more information as well.

Hope it helps!
