Hi all
I work in a furniture manufacturing company and they are looking into using inventor for some of our units.
We've been working on a workflow as outlined below:
1. Draw multibody parts (separate ones for every carcass, metal frame etc)
2. Take those multibody parts and export them once as derived for an assembly and once with Make components for CNC
3. Create assembly from all the derived parts and drawing for assembly to present to the client
4. Export all separate parts from the derived part assemblies on separate drawing sheets for CNC
My questions is - is there an easy automated way to achieve point 4 from the above?
I'm sure there must be script somewhere that can do this, or an add-in, or perhaps a functionality in the program itself? I just don't seem to be able to find it. Opening every single part to create a drawing just takes too long.
I was wondering if anyone could help me out with this.
Thanks.
